LETS CATCH THE THIEF!

                                               
                                                

What would you do if you find yourself in this situation? When you return home tonight, you find that someone has been there in your absence-an intruder, a thief! Quickly, you search through your belongings and find only one thing of value missing. Although angry, you are relieved that nothing else was taken. Besides, you reason, the stolen item is covered by insurance.

But by tomorrow night you discover that the thief has returned and taken only one thing of value, By now you are steaming mad, but you are still covered by insurance. Night after night you return home to find that, each day the thief has returned and taken one thing you value. Soon your insurance is cancelled –so that each the thief takes costs you dearly. Moreover, your neighbors say they never see the thief. What would you do?

Then u’d get his attention. Find a sky (talent)that the world have being overlooking and start grooming it so it can bloom then u’d see! Introversion is a dangerous pre-occupation with oneself. It leads to depression and negativity killing you slowly without your knowing. Because inevitably you always focus on what is wrong in your life instead of good. Remember an attitude of gratitude is the basic to all happiness. . .. . .if you find yourself in this place of personal devastation or dangerous pre-occupation, what do you do?

OUR RELATIONSHIP IS OVER

                                

I wake up every morning and still have this one thought hunting me, I have tried and really don’t know how to get rid of it.The more I try the more the accuser stands beside me to re-play the video of my past, But I vividly remember the preacher speaking that fateful morning in my Sunday school class that I have every right to control my life, speech, thoughts and even pasts. But it doesn't work here, am I an alien or something?

CONVERSATION WITH MYSELF: MENTAL WORKINGS

I do not understand life, its processes and those involved; the lack of care and inhumane actions, some from friends, most from family. Nothing hurts more than having your own family turn its back on you when you need them the most. It hurts. It’s bad, it’s…sick.I really have to stop thinking this way though. If no one cares about me, at least I should care about myself! Is it my fault I was raped by my uncle? Is it my fault I got pregnant as a result? Is it my fault that I am not capable of taking care of a child and those who are supposed to help me turned their backs on me so family name could be protected? Will it be my fault if I have to give the child up for adoption…?

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return but what hurts the more is not to get the courage to let the person know how feel. One sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you only to find out that you both are not meant to be and you just have to let go. 

Maybe God wants you to meet a few bad people (sounds weird) before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right one we would be grateful. Love is when you take away away the feeling, passion and romance (sex, kissing, caressing) and find out you still care for that person. . . . I can imagine the thoughts going through your head now, is it possible? How can there be care without a feeling?

DEPRESSION: CAUSE AND EFFECTS

Depression is nothing strange. People at different level experience it as a result of different circumstances, and in different areas of existence. It is no respecter of status and gender. Whether rich or poor, middle-class or lower-class, male or female etc. we are all prone to it and if you’re honest enough, at least with yourself as you check out the following situations and others I’d be showing as we journey in this discourse, if you identify with them, you’d realize, even if you didn't know before, that you had, are suffering, or likely to suffer depression. Let’s take a little imagination tour.

DAIRY OF A SEX ADDICT

                                                                            

A leopard can’t change its spots. This old saying is true of leopards, but is it also true of 

people? Particularly those with sexual spotted lives? . . . .Many times we hear “You’ll never 

change”. Many females hear, “you are a bad seed”. .. Do you think it’s possible for people to change? The bible says, “With God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). Even if we feel that our minds and hearts are defiled, Lets also remember that our God is our Redeemer------he is our deliverer  “You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling; I will walk before the lord in the land of the living (psalm 116:8-9)

VICTORY OVER LIFE ASUNDER

 Suicide is a dark topic. The church sees it as a sin. Starting in the Middle Ages the law made it a crime. Then suicide passed to the mental health profession. So, what is suicide? Sin? Crime? Mental Illness? All three?

FAREWELL TO ADDICTION FEUD.

                                       

We have known great sorrow, but we have seen the power of the Savior turn our most devastating defeats into glorious spiritual victories.

                                   

We who once lived with daily depression, anxiety, fear and debilitating anger now experience joy and peace. We have witnessed miracles in our own lives and in the lives of others who were ensnared in addiction. We have paid an awful price in self-inflicted pain and suffering because of our addictions. But blessings have poured forth as we have taken each step to recovery. Having had a spiritual awakening,  we strive every day to improve our relationship with Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we are healed.

Some people consider addictions to be simply bad habits that can be conquered by willpower alone,

But many people become so dependent on a behavior or a substance that they no longer see how to abstain from it. They lose perspective and a sense of other priorities in their lives. Nothing matters more than satisfying their desperate need. When they try to abstain, they experience powerful physical, psychological, and emotional cravings. As they habitually make wrong choices, they find their ability to choose the right diminished or restricted “Addiction has the capacity to disconnect the human will and nullify moral agency, It can rob one of the power to decide” Addictions can include the use of substances such as tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea, and drugs (both prescription and illegal), and behaviors such as gambling, codependency, viewing pornography, inappropriate sexual behavior, and disorders associated with eating(Yeah).These substances and behaviors diminish a person’s ability to feel the Spirit. They harm our physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being, If you suspect you are addicted and if you feel even the smallest desire to break free, we invite you to join us in studying and applying the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We assure you that if you follow this path with a sincere heart, you will find the power you need, to recover from addiction, The Savior will strengthen you and you will come to “KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE” (JOHN 8:32).

TRY SOMETHING NEW .

Someone once said, never be afraid to try something new. Sometimes we are tempted to give up because whatever we are doing doesn’t work .when that happens we have to try something new .As long as we are making progress in life, we will have new opportunities and face new challenges. We have dreams and goals that we want to pursue, but we also need solutions to challenges that we experience along the way. If we know what to do, then we need to do it; if we don’t, then we have the privilege of trusting god to guide us. The bible says we are to do what the crisis demands and then stand firmly in our place (Eph 6:13). Do what you can do and god will do what you cannot do.
